Price – 8/10

The best reason to shop at Techrific Australia is its prices. The store sells many popular brands such as Panasonic at huge discounts, with over $500 off in some cases. Other popular brands such as Leica are rarely discounted by more than $50, so it is worth comparing prices before you buy. The specials section on the Techrific Australia page is good and showcases a wide selection of discounted items. The standard pricing for the goods on Techrific Australia is similar when compared to its peers, but the discounts section is a lot cheaper than most.

Delivery Policies – 7/10

Techrific Australia uses Australia Post or couriers for all its deliveries and it aims to dispatch all orders within 1-3 business days. Standard shipping takes 3-5 business days for cities and 5-7 days for remote areas. Delivery charges are applied at the checkout and depend on your location the size and weight of your order.

Payment Methods – 8/10

Techrific Australia accepts Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and direct deposits.

Reliability – 7/10

Techrific Australia has received some very positive reviews online for its product quality and deliveries. Unlike some of its competitors, I did not find any reviews of refurbished products being passed off as new. There are some reviews from customers who were waiting on their orders for well over the estimated delivery time, but Customer Services appeared to address their concerns swiftly. The Techrific Australia website uses the latest technology to secure its site and your payment information and you can pay via PayPal. Unfortunately, there is a lot of spelling errors and missing words on the website, which may damage the store’s credibility to new customers.

Returns – 7/10

Techrific Australia states that it is not required to accept change of mind returns. However, if you order the wrong product and return it within 7 days, the store will refund your money less postage and a 15% restocking fee, as long as it is unopened. If your item is faulty it is covered by the 12 month warranty and the store will replace or repair it for you as quickly as possible.

You can arrange returns by contacting customer services through this form.

Customer Service – 7/10

The Techrific Australia Customer Service Team are very visible on review sites, where they answer negative reviews with offers of help and explanations. Unfortunately, customers often remain unhappy with the responses offered and the fact that the store does not supply a contact number for complaints and questions. If you need to contact Techrific Australia you can use the contact form, send them a fax to 1300 768 790 or write to them at

Summary

Techrific Australia provides its customers with great value for money across a huge range of products. The store’s 12 month warranty adds further value to all products purchased from the site and it accepts change of mind returns within 7 days of purchase. Techrific Australia’s delivery times are standard and the addition of a phone line for its customers would be a great improvement to the store’s customer service profile.

I have just received a phone from this company and have had issues with it from set up. Upon taking to an apple store, I was informed it is actually a 3 year old rebuild, done with none apple parts which voids all apple warranty. This phone was sold to me as a new item. I am up to my 3rd email to this company with no clear outcome. All I want now is my money back, and I will spend the extra and purchase from apple where I should have gone from the start. Only trying to save a bit of money, and support Australian companies, which I am not sure this one is any more.
